About Us
Joe McGivern has been heavily involved in the Irish Shooting and Gundog scene for over 40 years winning plaudits for his ability to breed, train and compete at the highest level with both Golden and Labrador Retrievers.
Joe has been given the honour of judging the Irish Retriever championship a record 5 times and has competed and placed in the event a number of times over the years with various Dogs from his Drumalig breeding line.
Over the years Joe has won Field Trials with twelve individual Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers as well as countless working tests.
In recent years Joe has been invited to Judge Field Trials and Working Tests in Ireland, England, Scotland & Wales as well as Belgium, Switzerland and Denmark. Now that Joe has retired he has plenty of time on his hands which enables him to spend more time on the Sport he has always enjoyed.
